I'm a 39-year-old, married, database professional from Chicago. In my spare time, I especially enjoy listening to music (particularly minimal house music, and similar sorts of twichy electronic things) and also produce some of my own electronic music.
I don't have an official dx, I only just recently started to take seriously the possibility that I might be more than a little Aspergerish. I can remember reading Amy Hardon's article in the NY Times a couple years ago, and finding a lot to identify with. More recently, I scored a whopping 41 giving myself the Baron-Cohen test online. I'm not sure I trust that result completely, but there's at least enough of a possibilty here that I definitely plan to follow up with my doctor and try to get looked at by a competent professional in the immediate future.
In the meantime, I've been looking around this forum for a couple of days now, and it seems really awesome. I'm grateful you guys are here.
