My name is Stephanie Lewis, and I'm from a small town in Wisconsin. I am 17 years old, and a junior at my high school. I play bball and softball, think i was born with a basketball in my hands, and played it pretty much all my life. I was diagnosed with AS at ten, but have always been a little bit awkward socially. I have a dream and a goal, to one day, despite the AS, attend Police Academy, and after that become a policewoman. But I think I need some years before I'm mentally ready for that job. When I graduate from high school, I'll probably attend college somewhere, probably majoring in Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice. But physically I'm ready to scare the hell out of almost anyone. Ain't many policewomen taller than 6'2.

Wow... explains your interests in ball.
There was another new member, who just posted her unfortunate experience with a Quack, who told her since she was a dancer (too animated), well, she just couldn't be Aspergers.

Thanks for sharing your story and ambitions. Positive attitude can take you far.

Welcome to Wrong Planet!!

I love basketball too, even though I haven't played in years; my dad used to ref for a school in my area and I grew up splitting time between court side and on the court.
