Hi! I'm Angela. Technically, I'm not new; I've been on here for about a year. But the moderator had written to me and told me that if I want to meet people, the discussion forum was the place to do it, since nobody really reads the blogs. I'd gotten a couple of responses, but I was told I'd get more if I went here.
Let's see, where do I begin? Well, I'm 31 years old, and I was first diagnosed with Asperger's when I was in my early 20s. I'm a college student, majoring in Sociology. I live in Massachusetts, with my parents, and I have a younger sister, who recently moved out. I like movies, TV, travel, shopping, reading, going online, and, most of all, spending time with my boyfriend. I'm looking for others, such as myself, to connect with. If anyone is interested, please write back soon.

Seek out those forums related to your interests here on WP... they have everything from gaming... to about anything, I think. People will definately get to know you better...

Yes, unfortunately even in the autistic community, you have to be proactive to receive fair recognition.

Just try not to do things like only leave messages to new people as they show up, because then you'll just look like you're seeking negative attention. Umm... wait... :roll:
