Any ref to this? :

"Oresama" is both an overly-self-confident and narcissistic way of saying "me" in Japanese.
Miyavi said when asked, Special Talent: oresama

Yep, that's exactly the reference. Kind of ironic as my self esteem is generally very, very, very low. Still I went with it one day on other forums and it stuck with me.

Reminds me of what Aspergers Syndrome/Gary Numan said :
Quote:
Gary has Asperger syndrome, an autism spectrum disorder which causes restricted social and communication skills. In a 2001 interview, he said: "Polite conversation has never been one of my strong points. Just recently I actually found out that I'd got a mild form of Asperger's syndrome which basically means I have trouble interacting with people. For years, I couldn't understand why people thought I was arrogant, but now it all makes more sense."

Some Aspies might have that attitude, or at least come off that way... misunderstood... sometimes I have got cocky with things I'm good at, but at same time, I have another part of me that's like you, quite humble...
