New here, Michael from Hannover....Found it at last

While i would rather find Aspies in my own area and facfe to face communication is more satisyfying to me as i can see and touch my friends, this forum looks like something valuable. I've come here through a German Aspie forum aspie.der o apie.net i dunno which of both and they are bit empty. Not entrrely empty but you can wait weeks for an answer
I was diagnosed AS in November 2004.
Since then i had been in a shyness supprt group - there is no AS group here in the area, only a male Aspie whom i got in touch with again.

I can bulid close friendships but seem to destroy them after 2- 3 months by overwhelming people or by reasons i don't understand....

I have only casual friendships now....
Just recovering from a fresh good friendship breakup- it was good deep friendship & am still relling from it & obsessing.Can't stop obsessing

Welcome to this large kind of over populated large main forum index with many forums underneath. Why I described it what way I wouldn't have a clue. I'm glad you found this place. Enjoy it as much as I have.

@Tequila... You are right with your assumptions. I used to support Liverpool FC about 6 years ago . It was just a phase & gave me the feeling that I was a part of something big - alarge movement or group- and met online 'like-minded'- people on StudentUK but later realised how silly it is...

&BlueFireBird . I took your mention of the Dutch AS forum as an invitation to join in.... & did, i mean laguages are my forte & even though i don't speak Dutch I'll learn it for Annne Frank (odd i know) & i understand it anyway halfway somehow...
