I'll just state the obvious, I'm new here and I've been diagnosed with Aspergers since November of last year.

I'm not real good on explaining things, especially since it tends to get too drawn out and such but the gist of it is that for the past several years. I've been unemployed with no luck of trying to find work for seven long years, I gave up trying to find work and became depressed... nothing new there. Ultimately, I tried going back to school and have been trying to get over a meltdown I've had since the start of the Fall 2009 school year due to financial issues. After a few weeks, I finally got tested at my school for Aspergers and a diagnosis that I do have it. Now, I've been sitting on my butt waiting for VESID to assign me my counselor so I can finally have a chance to get work so I can try & pay off some of my loans and hopefully go back to school one day.

What is your passion? How do you get there? What are the obstacles in the way? How can you overcome them? Which careers are viable ones (passion vs salary)? Which degrees or trade school best prepares you? Should the available jobs not fulfill your passions, would you be able to pursue them part time? The most important thing in life is drive....even more powerful if borne of passion. These are things you should be concerned with.

Many passions can be fulfilled with your own business. Envirotech is a booming and lucrative business. You would just need to know what needs to be done and who to contact to get contracts and who to employ as a subcontractor. You are the middle man with the answers. You are the master at the helm. Your ship goes in the direction and at the speed of your choosing. That my friend, is freedom. Yes, there is a friend of the family who is very wealthy, working out of his home doing just that. That is just one example. Use your inflexibility/perfectionism to become the foremost authority in an open market...be inflexibly right...you will become the answer man that people will need for the problems they don't even know they will have.

This may sound strange...Don't cheer up. Accomplish your dreams and you cannot help but be happy.
