Hello all.

I've posted just a few times so far, but haven't formally introduced myself.

My name is Michael, I sometimes go by the internet alias "Truth Seeker." I'm 38 years old and live in Los Angeles, California. I found out that I have Asperger's Syndrome through a self-diagnosis about five months ago, and I'm currently in the process of assimilating this knowledge into the matrix of my psyche.

I'm an amateur photographer and photoblogger (check out my photoblog at http://truthseeker1972.aminus3.com/).

Among some other things about me: I'm a fan of the films of Stanley Kubrick and Quentin Tarantino, a passionate fan of Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" (which I consider to be my bible and among the greatest books ever written). I'm a pro-science atheist, and a right-of-center libertarian (though I absolutely hate talking politics).

My motto is Cicero's quote that "Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others." And I try to live up to that by keeping a gratitude journal.

Anything else about me, I guess you'll learn as I post on these forums. 8)

Hi Michael, welcome to WP! :)

I like the photography--especially "Undead Burger Flippers" (I work at a fast food restaurant  ).

I'm really into Quentin Tarantino as well. I like Stanley Kubrick but I've only seen the shining and full metal jacket (which was the best take on the vietnam war I think ever made into a film) and have read the art of war. It's good to know I'm not the only Tarantino freak, but for me the other director I really like is Guy Ritchie.

Ditto. I loved that film.
