New. I'm going to get evaluated on tuesday by a psychiatrist

I have always had my quirks since I was a child. I now realized that my sensory issues are not as normal as I thought they were, among other things.

I was at first diagnosed with adhd by my old psychiatrist that I've been going to for about 8 months, but he hasn't said/responded to anything about my "problems" that weren't related to adhd. He just flitted away my concerns.

So, I decided to make an appointment at a new psychiatrist and hope he understands me more than the one I've been always going to.

Nice to meet you. I like your avatar too. It reminds me of my mother, who was very beautiful. She wasn't quite so goth though... imagine your avatar with hair the colour of dark honey.

Welcome. Actually your avatar reminds me of the lead singer for Evanescence... think her name is Amy Lee or something along those lines.

(No, I'm not goth, but between my cousin and my two ex-girlfriends I know a lot about goth music.)

I missed my appointment today and it's frustrating.
