Thanks for the welcome folks.

I joined a while back, went inactive for a spell, and thought Id say hello again.

Per the original message, I would be really keen to hear from the Scottish members of this fine board.

Surely, I cant be the Lone Fifer lol

DogDaySunrise - very cool name btw.

....good to hear from so many familiar faces.

Question to the Scots on this thread......what, if any, support do you get from Social Work/support agencies for your autism?

I appreciate this is an intros board, but why do you think NAS is crap? What would you change about them, to make them more useful?

What took you from Ayrshire to England?

Hi there
We in central scotland- my youngest son has h/f autism and my daughter and eldest son have aspergers -me too!(no comment on my husband!)
I have had fantastic support for my youngest-especially after learning you have to ask for things from authorities as often stuff is not offered to you at first- but never even sought any help for the others -i think if you are a parent with aspergers and you have spent a lifetime dealing with it you are the best help your child can have-also helping them often leads you to new levels of self awareness. WP is a sturdy staff to lean upon on your journey- hope you find it so !
I have 2terriers,5pigs 2cows 1fat pony
