43 year old Australian male (Tasmania).

I guess I'm what would be called Aspies Undiagnosed.

15 years ago I had a psychiatrist diagnose me as Schizotypal Personality Disorder and Depressed. I've lived with that assumption until yesterday.

I've always found it hard to find work and as such usually end up receiving specialist help from specialist job agencies, funded by our government. They have me seeing a psychologist at the moment, and it turns out his personal interest range encompasses Aspies. Yesterday he tells me that backed by his years of experience, he thinks I'm Aspies, not SPD.

He's a psychologist, not a psychiatrist, so it doesn't count as an official diagnosis, however:
1. HIs experience is now instead of a shrink 15 years ago.
2. He is about experience, whereas I think the other guy was less 'hands-on'.
3. I read up on Aspies and agree that I can see more of me in it than SPD.
4. I can't explain it, but it feels... 'cleaner' to me. I like it.

So regardless of whether or not I am, I'm going to act as if it is so.
