The only thing I care about is talking to people, and although I am ok at it, I wish I was better. My whole life I've been kind of depressed because AS and extroversion are such a bad combination. I just want to talk about life as an Aspie.

Hello and welcome!

Just curious, would you consider one of your parents to be extroverted? I've sort of grappled with this issue myself. Please elaborate.

Oh Nightnerd.... I am also extroverted - or at least I play one at work!! There's a family saying about me that I could talk to a rock.... what they don't know is that I rather talk to a rock most times!! !

To answer the other question: My parents are both natural extroverts, ie, they don't fret what to say on the way to the party or event and don't say anything at anytime that brings the room to a complete standstill (I do those things!!).

What is the significance of the parental extrovertism??

H.
