I have been reading the posts on here for years and and now I finally gathered all my courage and created an account.
I'm not diagnosed, but I'm pretty sure that I have Aspergers. It would certainly explain many of my quirks. The people I know who know Aspergers also agree that it's very likely that I'm on the spectrum. Maybe I will get a diagnosis some day.
Whenever I felt misunderstood, lost, and/or alone, I would visit wrongplanet and browse the forums. It was very comforting to see that there are other people out there who seem to be similar to the way I am and who face the same obstacles in our mostly NT world. I hope I can return the favor by participating in the discussions and sharing some experiences.
