I don't tell many people I have asperger's, but yes, I do get teased for being weird. I am frequently asked questions such as "How come you never talk' and 'you're so weird'. It's really hard sometimes, and I get accused for things that I can't really help, like in PE class when I get accused of 'not participating', when the accuser fails to take things into account like the fact that cannot accurately throw or catch a ball, do not know how to communicate with 'teammates' when they are 50 meters (45 feet, I think) away, and that in most cases, I have never heard of the sport being played (anyone herd of 'la cross'?), or have no idea how it is played, and no explanation was given prior to the commencement of the 6 week unit on that sport. This has also caused a lot of teasing, as well as the fact that i'm just different from most people my age/gender. In Primary school, people often told me that I should have been a girl. This made me very upset. I couldn't deal with these comments and ended up begging my parents to transfer me to another school (I eventually moved to the school around the corner from my old one). So, in an indirect way, I guess you could say I got teased at school for my aspieness.
