Hi Everyone. I am a NT female from Pennsylvania. I am a Speech Therapist, and I came across this site and was really hooked. Hearing the perspectives and thoughts/insights of everyone on here helps me to better understand people with AS. I see several young kids who have AS, and I feel like I can better connect with them and help them better connect, with more insight into the minds of people with AS. I have students whose behavior constantly gets inappropriately assessed by others, often being precieved as "rude" or "uncaring."
I have to admit I am a little hesitant to amit being a NT SLP on here. I would like to contribute where I can, and not just "lurk" around, but more importantly learn.
