just diagnosed

Hi

I have been looking at these forums for a while but haven't contributed much as I thought I should wait until I've been diagnosed. I just got diagnosed with AS this week. I am 31 years old. I found out about AS after a relationship ended about 4 years ago - the only relationship I've been in - it lasted about 10 months. There were significant problems there and after some time of trying to figure out what was wrong with me we finally split up. A couple years later I found out about AS through a psychotherapist that i started seeing. As with many people here I feel totally hopeless about relationships now and do not see a relationship as a realistic possibility based on my experience - I don't think relationship compatibility can exist between me and another person and it makes me feel hopeless. That being said i have a love of music, particularly classical and instrumental acoustic guitar and i love to practice and that brings some positivity to my life. Just thought i would introduce myself and maybe I will start contributing a bit here and there now that i'm diagnosed... I would like to tell my ex about my diagnosis as i think it would help answer a lot of her questions from years ago (or maybe she doesn't even care anymore about what is going on with me anymore...that seems more likely). I'm having some trouble laying it all out though, i want to send an email but there is an overwhelming amount of information to pass along. Well i will continue to work on this..look forward to getting to know some of you maybe...
