Hi,
I just found this site this morning. I don't have a dx. About 4 years ago after learning alot about austism while working with children with autism I came to the realization that I might have asperger's. But since I was functioning well at the time and not sure about what such a dx would/could do for me, I didn't do anything about it.
This morning out of the blue my mother told me that she just realized I might have Asperger's. I did some searching online and saw where she was coming from. I took several of the test on this site and the results show I might.
My insurance goes in effect in December and I will look into getting a dx then.

Look at my signature lol. For me it happened after reading a post from a person who was describing her daughter, and it was as if she was describing my stepson. Shortly after I also realised that I have many AS traits myself. I don't see this as a bad thing at all tho, it is like finding the pieces of my puzzle.
