Hello WP, my name is Christian Martinez, 17 years old in NJ, and my reason for logging into WP is because I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome. When I was in the fifth grade, my doctors told me that I have AS. Pretty much having it as a kid, it was extremely hard to socialize with anybody and make new friends. Also having AS made me obsessed with playing video games alot like Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog.

But over the years up until high school, my intrests change dramaticly as I started to adapt to NT activties like fasion, music, sports, pop culture, Facebook, and some scoialization. NOTE: I am actually doing all of this BUT I am NOT an NT. Basically I am overcoming AS through the power of my will alone. Then, I looked up AS and surprisingly, I understood my issue about it, it all makes sense. I even wrote a book about it and I was planning on editing it and publishing it. Finally I checked out Wrong Planet and here I am. I am pretty much excited to be involved here.

All I want to do here is to express anything about AS, make new friends, to really spread awareness about AS to help you and I see AS as an acceptence to society for some of you, and most importently to have fun. My current self: Utterly improving socialization, I have a great physique, and enjoing life B)

Welcome! I have found it very cathartic to have finally discovered a place filled with people who think as I do. After spending a lifetime as an outcast it is surreal to have found a community like this one. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
