Well, I've been lurking around here for long enough, and finally decided to join in...

I've been an odd duck all my life, and subsequently, have been searching for a place where I fit in...maybe that place is here??

So, hi...I'm hoping to make some new friends...which may be tough cuz I'm not really good at the whole friendship thing, but I really would love some Aspie ladies to talk to..."regular" women just don't get me.

I'm really not sure what else to say, which is weird cuz I love talking about myself!

(so, I've been sitting here for 10 minutes trying to talk myself into hitting that submit button down there, but I'm so afraid that I haven't said the right thing, or that no one will want to talk to me. Why am I afraid?? Everyone here seems to be pretty friendly, but I'm still nervous...well, here goes nothing...)

Hi CiinnamonGirl! Welcome to WP!

I'm from Canada too!

I was too a lurker for a long time before I joined, I think lots of us were.

I'm sure you'll find a lot of people to talk to on here.

Oooh, cinnamon! I like cinnamon. I used to have cinnamon bagels for breakfast every day back when I used to have breakfast every day.

Thanks so much for your replies! Can you believe that my heart started beating wildly when I saw that someone(two someones!) had actually replied to me?!

ocdgirl123: thanks! I've been watching some really captivating threads, and I'm excited to join in, but I'm really interested in learning more about myself and why I've always felt the way I have. I hope to start getting some answers to my questions while I'm waiting to see someone.

Mindslave: I used to have a chocolate chip bagel toasted with butter and a medium chocolate milk every day for breakfast for nearly a year!

We figured in Canada you could use all the warmth we could send.

Hahaha! True enough! It won't be long at all until I will want to hibernate completely from the chilly outside world, but the weather in my area has been actually bearable thus far. It won't be for very much longer I'm afraid.

Being in New York I feel the cold pain. Stepped out for a cigar and was buffetted by painfully cold winds. Finger biting winds. You Canadians arent putting giant fans on the border and sending the cold to us, are you?

Our best lumberjacks are working on a series of giant sticks to put into the fans, then your plans will become moot. Unless Canadians secretly need more sawdust, then putting the sticks in will be playing right into your collective canuck hands... You've bested us again! First it was the secret Tim Hortons invasion of 97 and now this!
