Another newbie here. I'm from San Francisco, California, USA, am still but a child - 23 years old - and have old diagnoses of nonverbal learning disability with sensory integration dysfunction, ADD and depression. I've recently been learning to own myself and how my brain works, after running into some very severe self-esteem and self-worth issues. I'm also learning to engage in higher executive functioning, both in my life and in my art (which is my Passion Thingy). Personal interests include comics (which I make, albeit painfully slowly), art, music, literature, gender theory, philosophy, popular arts, lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender/queer/etc. (LGBTQ*) liberation activism/politics, and a good deal of nerdy stuff besides. My big thing lately, though, has just been about learning to function in a world I don't seem to be built for much, which brings me here.
