I found this site while researching and read some things that interested me so I joined. I am a married mother of two. am always looking for more information about AS, specifically in mothers/parents of small children, which is so far hard to find.

I live at the beach but rarely go because I can't handle the sand or the crowds. I work at a vet because animals are easier to deal with than their people. I read a lot, a book per night most nights. I love all kinds of music and movies - basically any solitary escapist mental activity!

I'm an NT wife/mom with an AS Husband/young AS son.

Within my husband's family I am the "odd one out". We now think both of his parents are on the ASD. He may have a younger brother that is, too. We don't think his eldest bro is, BUT he has 8 kids...we think 3 or 4 of our nieces/nephews are.

Within my family, LUCKILY no one feels odd or left out.

We have LOTS of animals, as I am an animal lover. Both my husband and son prefer cats to people.

I hope you find what you are looking for here. It seems people are curious, well-informed, and open. I've joined a few other forums for NT partners...so far I have found them all (other than this one) to be negative and closed-minded.
