Hey guys, my names Joe. I'm 16 years of age. I was diagnosed with AS when I was in kindergarten.
I used to have great social difficulty, but in the last couple years I've improved greatly. I used to not be able to look at somebody straight in the eyes out of nerve. These days I can do that with ease.
I'm a straight A student and have completely been taken of an IEP in recent years.
However I do struggle in other areas, which is why I'm on the forum. I'm not good at meeting new people but to people I know fairly well I seem like a normal kid.
I also suck at talking to girls. I genuinely don't know how to go up to a girl and introduce myself ( This is the main reason I'm here lol)
I tend to be a bit of a troll sometimes. I really need to work on myself in that respect.
I consider myself to be fairly adept to social interaction, so I'm going to try and help out here as-well.
