Well, at the title says I'm Travis I'm 20 years old and Male. I've recently been diagonsed with Aspergers Syndrome, and Schizophrenia. I also have the diagonsis' of Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia and Bi-Polar Disorder. Initially I was just diagnosed as Nonverbal Learning Disorder NOS, but the therapist I've recently began seeing said she could tell within 2 minutes of talking to me that I most certainly had Aspergers Syndrome.

My main area of interest is oddly enough, Pharmaceuticals. I'm a moderator for a forum called Drugs and Booze(http://www.drugsandbooze.com)(sorrry if this is considered advertising). I've intently studied Pharmaceuticals and the English Language to an almost painful degree and know more then many doctors do, but, that just makes me look like a smart ass, and doesn't really get me anywhere as of now.

I consider myself above average intelligence by far, but, I bombed my SATS so, there goes my shot at a good college eh? Too much pressure, and the time frame, and the fact it was entirely visual didn't help. Also, My handwriting is extremely poor due to my disorganized though patterns and that most surely did not look well on my essay, even though it was brilliant written.

Currently I'm in a major slump in my life. I'm on probation for a D.U.I. that occured on my friends Birthday, and now I'm facing charges for theft of lottery, because, even though I knew I was on camera and that It would show up in the paperwork, I compulsively(I didn't keep any money) played around 93$ worth in lottery tickects while working at a Uni-Mart, on the job. That cost me my job and now I'm facing charges, for that, even though they said they were going to drop it because I paid them. So I'm looking at a probation violation, theft of lottery, and well, probobly jail-time.

I can't handle jail. I'm not a criminal;, I hardly talk to people. I have maybe 2-3 people I talk to other then my family and people on the internet. I never leave the two rooms of my house that I feel comfortable in.

Needless to say I'm a wreck and I could use some cheering up. Since I've recently been diagonsed as AS I decided to intently research it and its communities as much as possible and I found this place and it seems nice, so, if you wish to reply to my post please do so, it would make me feel better.

I'm a f**k up and I'm gonna be shafted by the court system. I just hope they take the AS, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Bi-Polar, and Schizo into consideration and go easy on me. I'm afraid of what I would do to myself if I faced jail time. I'm not the criminal type, as I previously stated, and I'm pretty much a sissy. Well, a sissy except for the extreme ability to inflict self-harm.(I guess I can at will shut off my pain senses to certain areas in my body so as to do noticeable damage to myself without feeling it).

I'm a mess.

That's quite a bit of things. I'm pretty sure if you open up a bit and explain to your prosecutors, incarcertors, jury, judge, whoever - you'd definitely get compassion. Let them know there's something that isn't right, and that you really need help. I know it sounds kind of cheesy, but it's unfortunately your best shot.

Don't call yourself a f*** up either. I'm not gonna go all softie on ya, but I'm certain you have quite a bit of positive qualities. I don't really know what they are yet, because just about everything you said was pretty negative - but I can understand why. You're definitely not a f*** up, and you certainly deserve an opportunity at life as everyone else. Hang in there, because if you keep your head up, good things come.

I hate to do this, but here are some half-funny but half-serious eHow.com entries regarding jail. Some of these are insightful, some are a little light hearted :)

Clever scheme to break out :)

Hey Travis

You can apply for extra time on the SATs, I did and you get to sit in a room all by yourself. You get half the time added on.. if it's a 60 minute portion then you get 90 minutes, etc. I believe this was awarded to me because of non verbal learning disability as well! Look into the rules with the college board.

Also clearly you need to get an attorney. If you can't afford one, call your attorney general's office and get referred to a public defender. You have a defense with your recent diagnosis.

Yea, I definately could have used the extra time on the SATs because I BOMBED them horribly. I even did poor on the essay portion even though my english ability is considerably high compared to most people. I have a public defender, but, I'm smarter then that worthless piece of flesh is. Hes hardly a help at all. I'm pretty much screwed unless I can pull off a miracle.
