Hi I'm Shelley I have just joined Wrongplanet even though I don't know if I have Aspergers or not, after reading some posts a lot of things add up.
I'm not good at eye contact I find it intimidating.
I'm a loner I don't like crowds.
I was bullied when I was in primary school.
People tried to make me socialise but it just made me keep to myself all the more.

I'm Scott, and right off the bat I can relate to the few traits you mention..the eye contact, crowds, bullying...you're by no means alone. I speak for others on here am sure.

You have mentioned your Aspie style of social interaction. Do you have any intense, special interests?

Yes I'm a huge Abba fan I also love animals especially cats,
I like playing games on the computer like Mahjongg and canasta.
I come from Melbourne although I was born in NSW and lived in Tasmania for a while.
It was when I came to Melbourne when I got picked on at school.

Thank you for the welcomes I think I'm going to find this forum helpful as I can relate to a lot of you.
I also have a Fascination for the big cats like: lions, tigers, Lynxes, etc. it upsets me that a lot of them are on the endangered list .
I love Abba and have most of their records and cds and I have heaps of pictures of them and books.

I have a cat of my own a ginger tabby and white cat called Tammy. :cat:

Anyway I hope I'll be able to help other people on wrong planet as well.
