I just never felt any connection or friendships with anyone in this community. Having trouble making friends with NT's is one thing. Having trouble making friends with Aspies is another thing. Maybe it's my fault for being a dull uninteresting jackass. I don't know.

Goodbye all. Forget about me, if you haven't already. I wish you all well.

Were you going for a laugh? I laughed.

If not, sorry. And bye.

Is this a joke at Dubya's expense? Or are you being serious?

If you're serious, then :(

I think it can take a while. Also, you've got to be proactive, talk to people directly, PM them, ask to swap MSN numbers, facebook etc. etc. etc. I don't know about you, but I'm not naturally like that, it's something I'm still learning to do.

When I first self identified with asperger's and found this place, I kinda had a preconceived notion that other aspies would automatically be just like me and get me, and I'd finally have tons of friends. But it isn't really like that. I have made some friends here though.
