Hi everyone
29 year old female, US. AS. Undiagnosed as of yet, mainly due to lack of health insurance, money, and time right now, but me and my mother have done some extensive research and the first thing she did was go "OMG years and years of paying thousands of dollars to psychiatrists that could never give us any answers, and you go do medical research online (one of my obsessions LOL) and you find it in five minutes of reading. Why didn't these doctors figure it out?!?!" I basically told her it was mainly because AS was not as well known when I was a kid, but anyway here we are, pretty sure (like 99%) that I'm an Aspie. So hi to the rest of you. By the way, I am one of those that does the long-winded thing
so I will try to keep that to a minimum, but don't hate me if I slip up once in a while. I'm pretty good at being held accountable for my quirky behaviors and won't take offense if you have to call me on them. In fact my boyfriend's favorite thing to do when I get like that at home is to say "OK, Asperger-y" LOL I consider my lifelong quirks a gift of uniqueness I was lucky enough to be blessed with, and though I had some rather embarrassing and lonely moments growing up, I feel I have adapted pretty well with being able to catch myself. Like I will do right now.... I'm babbling, and I was just here to say hi, So HI!! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !
