I've been diagnosed rather recently with Asperger's syndrome--just a couple weeks ago, actually. =P I've had trouble with social situations, anxiety, and perfectionism for a while, but it's tricky adjusting to something once you find out there's a fancy name for it. Because of this, I figured it would be helpful to frequent a place like WrongPlanet, which I only remembered existed this afternoon.

Anywho. My name is Arisa. I enjoy reading, drawing, studying, gardening, and listening to music, particularly indie rock. And...I look forward to gaining a better understanding of this whole thing through my time here! =D And getting to know you folks.

Welcome to WrongPlanet!

Well, it sounds like you'll have little trouble fitting in here, as most of us are also on the wrong planet. Hope you enjoy your time here :)

Good to meet you, Arisa - to the extent that this meeting's a meeting, anyway.

Asperger's stays a problem, but the anxiety can fade, with time and good advice.

Welcome
