I'm a 28 year old guy. I'm undiagnosed, but after doing a bit of research and reading my books, I'm sure AS is what most accurately describes my experiences. It also would explain why I have an IQ of over 130, but dropped out of high school, dropped out of college 3 times, can't hold down a job, have so many problems in interpersonal relationships, etc. Learning about AS has led me to learn about myself, and put a lot of things into perspective for me. I now realize that I have an atypical profile of abilities, but it will be possible to overcome them and make something of my life. I look forward to sharing experiences with others like me.

Religion, politics and philosophy. Not exactly the best subjects for polite conversation. ;) Mainly I love ideas and concepts, and I can get lost in thought. I tend to get very excited by making connections and having those "lightbulb moments." So I'm drawn to subjects that flow naturally from those tendencies. I also have an interest in computers and music.

I like you already! I do my best to rise to the challenge of discussing those topics politely, but it hasn't worked too well in other areas of the 'net. I hope that my predisposition to assume goodwill on the part of other people finds more reciprocation here than it has elsewhere.

I obviously haven't been here long, but my experience so far is that this is a pretty understanding bunch.
