I guess I ought to do this, so here it goes...

I am fourteen years old, and I was diagnosed with aspergers almost a year ago. I am having huge problems with my family, but I have tried to keep them from figuring it out. In this last week, things have gotten really hard, and I don't think I can hold out much longer. Because I am having trouble thinking of how to write this, let me just give you a quick summary of the issues I am having.

1: My father and one of my brothers are the problems. They do a lot of "lip-smacking", as we call it (whenever they open their mouths, it creates a terrible piping noise).

2: They also breath loudly, somehow. It almost sounds like they are breathig through long metal tubes, and it drives me nuts.

3. I have no friends, but I am very lonely. I feel as if my parents are trying to keep me away from other people, but I don't know how to approach then. Infect, I don't even like to be near them, so I rarely can approach them.

Well there you have it. Those are my biggest problems. Over the last few weeks, the noises have been getting louder, and have been happening more often, and the loneliness is getting to be unbearable. I joined this site to find help with these things, so, please, help me to do so.

Welcome to WP! I do have a question tough: you say that you are very lonely, but do not like to be near people? Or was it your parents?

I don't like to be near my family, and that is only because they bother me. I do really want some friends, though. Unfortunately, the only other person in my neighborhood that does not have a lot of friends is an eleven year old girl, and I know that most people think it will be creepy if a fourteen year old boy wants to be friends with an eleven year old girl
