Hi. I am glad to find this place. It's good to see that there are so many people to identify with. I'm 27, a workaholic, and I practice law in small town Oklahoma. I first learned what AS was while in undergrad at the University of Oklahoma. My B.S. is Secondary Education. For years it was thought that I was just AD/HD, though the extremely narrow interests had my parents wondering about me all the time. 
They couldn't understand why I couldn't put my energy into my school work instead of obsessing over car tag numbers, or whatever I was into at the time. I confuse people and myself because I'm known for being very social and know tons of people, but I'm also very withdrawn and have an inability to get close with people. I'm enjoying reading this forum and learning am learning a lot.
