Okay. I am basically here for one reason, to be honest: I find it really hard to find people to talk to in real life. That's probably, mostly, because it's hard to find people who actually think like me - people I'd actually WANT to talk to and who want to talk to me, in other words. You guys all sound like you think like me, from what I've read. So, who wants to chat?! : D

You can talk about anything and everything you want, it's all cool, though I've got some special interests of course and if you're into these things, that's awesome! They are: writing (any fellow writers out there? what do you write?), art (any artists? can I see your pics?), Homestuck (I have recently become a major fan of this comic), One Piece (love this anime so much), and dreams (had any cool dreams lately? I'd love to hear about them!). Those are my major interests, tho I have others of course.

If you don't share my interests, how about telling me what interests you? Don't be shy! I keep seeing people saying they want someone to talk to on this site, and I do too. So c'mon, let us discourse. >:]

Ooh, there's a poll option at the bottom. That sounds like fun! Okay, the question is: if you could pick ONE super-power to have, out of the two following options, would you rather FLY, or be able to turn INVISIBLE? I'm thinking I'd rather fly, because people don't notice I'm there half the time anyways. >.>

Hi LaydeeWriter,

I've tried to write but the words come out as flat when I don't write about thigs that have actually happened in some way. I like dreams and dream interpretation but I haven't thought about it for years.

I love cats, animals in general and being helpful when I can. I had a really weird dream (for me) recently, I was eating vegetables.

Aw, that's too bad about the words coming out flat. I don't know what I'd do if I had that problem! D: I guess you could always write a biography?

I love cats too. I have a big Maine coon who is a total spoiled butt. D: D'you have any pets?

Also, haha, vegetables?! XD I had a weird dream recently too. I was organizing my sock drawer! >.> That's pretty weird for me because typically I dream about aliens and zombies.

So anyways, what do you do? Why are you on this site?

Hmm, that poll question is too tricky to choose from!
I mean, I'd love to fly, so I could go about my not-so-busy day very quickly - though if I was invisible...oh wait, I sort of am sometimes anyway...
Well, I've tried my hand at writing in the past, though it comes and goes and is a casual interest at best, and I am rubbish at art. My interests are boring (well, to most people, anyway) :P

Petswise, I live with a large and handsome moggy and my bf has a Kerry Blue terrier. They really like each other but Toby (the KB terrier) is still learning boundaries. I love the look of Maine Coons, are they as lovely (personalitywise) as everybody says?

Organising your sock drawer is an odd dream. :) My dreams are usually vivid colors or fighting dreams. The odd nightmare about eating rare steak (I'm vegetarian) as well, probably to do with eating chese before bed lol.

I'm on WP because I like it, sometimes I go to the haven for help when I need it and I of course like to help people there when I can. Sometimes I can't offer useful help but when I can I do. I like the fact that here very few people are lightly to look at me as odd and the majority of people here are kind and accepting.

Haha ya it's tricky for a lot of people. : D

So what ARE your interests? I might not think they're boring!

Alright.
My main interest is weather (I haven't seen anyone on here share that interest, so if you're hiding, please feel free to appear!) - but beyond telling people if it's going to rain or not this week they aren't really interested. I also have a long-standing though fading interest in the wider area of geography - places in this fine world of ours, maps, road systems, etc. I also have an interest in not being depressed again :). Erm...let's see what else...I am interested in WP and use it too much :P. And a small interest in writing. I would be writing a book but there just ain't enough hours in a day.

Yes! They are so lovable, you have no idea. They're heaps friendly and nonchalant, just sorta chill.

Yeah my dreams are usually very, very vivid. They actually feel more real than reality does, which is partially why I'm so fascinated with dreams. Also, I was raised as a vegetarian! I started eating meat because everyone kept offering me meat whenever I was at school (pepperoni pizza for every class party, I swear - and we had a LOT of class parties, it seemed). (Hope that doesn't offend?) But yeah, can't STAND rare steak. I'm with you on that one. XP

It's cool that you like to help people. I try to do that sometimes but they don't seem to want my help. >.> Also, what's the Haven? I'm kind of a noob and I don't know my way around this site! D:

How the heck is weather boring?! Gawd, tornados, lightning, hail - and then there's overall climate, like global warming and the ice age. Then there are floods, hurricanes - weather makes us or breaks us, it's power is terrible, awesome, and yet beautiful. Seriously, who thinks that is boring? Man. Even people I know IRL think that stuff is fascinating. Did you know that, in 1816, there were snow storms all across America DURING the summer because of volcanic activity in some other part of the world throwing up ash into the atmosphere? (I totally found that out from a Rasputina song and then looked it up, good song by the way). Also, I LOVE to look at clouds and watch rain fall, the smell of rain, the feel of wind, the way clouds cast shadows on the countryside. Man. Weather's not even my main interest, not by a long shot, but I just don't get how someone could find it boring. What is it that you like about weather the most? Lightning, clouds, tornados?

I like geography too but I'm more interested in geology and history - how things got to be the way they are, basically, though I guess it's all related! If I had money I would totally travel around to all the geologically-interesting places, like Ol Doinyo Lengai and Arches National Park. What parts of the world do you like the most?

And yeah, I am interested in not getting depressed again too. >.> It's part of the reason I'm on this site!

Also, finding time to write is hard, sadly - I basically quit my job so I could work on my book all day, because I couldn't write when I was working. What sort of things do you write?

Well, most NTs find weather boring then ;)
There is a lot to it, indeed, but here in the UK we hardly get anything exciting at all.
1816 was the year without a summer I believe, from Tambora erupting.
I am more interested in the extreme side of weather, but I do love to do timelapses of the clouds passing by (ah, that's another little interest of mine, filmmaking). I also find tropical cyclones rather amazing to watch unfold and track.

Now, that's a hard question, about where in the world I like the most. I haven't really had the opportunity to see it, as I've only travelled beyond Europe once. I love the look of some of those small Pacific islands, though 8)

Good luck in keeping your head above the waters of depression, as I have been doing for the past 3 months :)

Well, I wrote short stories in the past, but now I've gone more to the non-fiction side of things. You may find my blog interesting, though as yet there are only three entries.

Can I be invisible and fly? I'd love to fly around and look in on what goes on when I'm not around at places. Ha Ha
OK, I chose invisible because I think it would be fun to observe, guess I'll have to walk.

I love to read and you love to write, Do you have a blog or someplace you put your writings?

From what I've seen, most NTs ARE boring. >.> Every interesting person I've ever known has had some weird syndrome or hangup. BUT, that's just my personal experience. : )
We don't get anything exciting where I live either, aside from the occasional flash-flood. (I live in the California desert BTW).
Yes, I read the Wiki article again and it was Tambora. I couldn't remember the name of the volcano. XD
Filmmaking is another totally non-boring interest. Ever checked out Indy Mogul? It's a cool site. I used to be HEAVILY into stop-motion animation but I couldn't afford to do it right! D: What sort of things do you film, aside from clouds? Do you write your own scripts, or do you do documentaries, or ...?

Also, I'll be sure to check out your blog. ;)

You can be both if the poll lets you ... but I don't think it does! D:

I don't have my stuff online, and I'd rather keep it that way. I guess I could email you the first chapter of my book, if you're interested? It's about this place called the dream realm, where people go when they sleep. It's a scifi/comedy/drama. Does that sound up your alley? What sort of things do you like to read about?

Generally, yes, I do find NTs, at least those my age, rather boring. I do not care one jot about celebrities or the latest music or what have you, which is all they seem to care about, if they're not buried in their hand-held machines, of which I do not possess, they are forever posting pointless updates and rubbish-quality photos on their facebook profiles. I used to feel quite miserable about it, but not so these days, though this really must make me sound like a old school headmaster!

I've always gone my own way with filmmaking - finding out what's worked best for me, what I enjoy filming, etc, so I haven't looked into anything like the website you mentioned. I just took a look at it. Well, I guess it's more video than film, though I think it would be fairly cool to do proper filmmaking, though it probably won't happen. I did do short video tours of cities last year, though that's sort of fallen away and it's mainly for home use at the moment.

When myself and my bf move out my Mum is planning on getting me a Maine Coon or a Norwegian Forest cat as a house warming gift, nothing more warming than a new family member.

No offence taken, I've been vegetarian for about a year now. I miss some tastes but I'm lucky that there are substitutes and quick meals available, which wouldn't have been available even three years ago. Quorn mince is great and I'm suprised how good lentils can taste (I eat lots of other stuff though, just in case you get the impression I subsist on junk food :) *giggle*).

The haven is a part of the forum where you can go when you need some support. To find it you move your mouse over the "Community" roll down at the top of the screen and click on "Discussion Forums". Then you get to the list of different forums, the haven's about three forums down in the "Coping with life catagory". <--- Hope that helps you find your way a little :).

Oh gawd, cell phones. Emphasis on CELL. Like a prison cell. I swear, everyone just goes around nowadays chained to those things, so entrenched in them it's like they're not even aware of the real world, let alone their own thoughts. The worst thing is when people are out with friends and the WHOLE TIME they're on their cell with ANOTHER friend. Chances are, when they actually hang out with that friend they were on the phone with next week, they'll be on the cell with the friends they were having dinner with last week. It's just ridiculous and RUDE. And people call me rude! Gosh. ... Oh dear I'm ranting. D: Don't even get me started on popular music and fashion and all that stuff. It's just sad. >.> Why don't you feel miserable about it anymore? Because I still do!

Video tours of cities? Sort of like a travel guide? That sounds cool. : ) What cities? Anywhere exotic?
