I was diagnosed with major depression earlier this year. I was searching a situation similar to my own, and I came across wp forums, and it seemed like a good community of people I can talk to. Most of my friends had abandoned me when I let them know what was going on, so having a tight group of friends would be nice. Guess I'll try it out and see if I like it.

I had two depressive periods in as many years, but no diagnosis.

Welcome to Wrongplanet Darin. I have depression too and I have been off my anti-depressants for over 1 month now so I have NOT been doing well. :( I really hope that you like it here and get the help and advice that you need and are looking for. :)

I think there are quite a few people with depression around here. 'The Haven' would probably be to your liking, but I hope you enjoy the other forums too. :)
