Hi there. I'm Jon, 17 years old and I live in Wales, UK. I haven't yet been diagnosed with Aspergers but it does seem to fit in with the way I act, and explains a lot of personality traits. I have the typical lack of social skills and awareness, although I am working on them, and I'm also unusally 'shy' among people I don't know. I've always had only a handful of friends, and prefer to be alone a lot of the time. I've had several strong interests also, at the moment entomology (which I've been interested in for a while) and languages. I like bike riding, walking and sometimes swimming, but sports doesn't come naturally to me.

At school, I'm doing Biology, Chemistry and French. Next year will be my last school year, and then it's on to university

Is entomology the study of word history, or is that etymology? I always get them confused.

Entomology is the study of insects. Etymology is the study of words. I prefer the latter: less icky, and words don't crawl away from you.
