I am the new one from Hamburg - Germany.

All my life I knew and know that I am different. But I found out about AS as I was older, I was already over 30.

Does it makes sence telling my SIs? I am a IT-Nerd, love all about aviation and multimedia. I go along as a Gothic, love to put black clothes on, like gothic music as well as medieval, folk, celtic music, even I like blues, country, rock and metal.

I am married with a woman who may be as well a aspie like me. I never could couple with any NT woman for a longer time.

My business is the IT, but 1998 I graduated an apprentieship as a electronic skilled worker, but got into the IT more and more.

Hope my english writing is not too bad. And please correct me, my writing. I am lacking trainig in writing in english. I have been in the USA for 5 month learning english, beginning at the age of 16 with a 3 month stay in the USA going to a highschool.
After that I had a vacation trip to Boston a year later for 4 weeks, going to a language school there and the same again another two years later in Seattle in the summer vacation. Since then I try to keep in contact with english all around. At one point I had to be able to speak english fluently to get a special job. This I did for 2 years. That ended last year.

So, ah well, if you have questions, just ask them.

So I'd hope you'd be an Asperger Hamburger then...

(Yes, I know the previous sentence didn't make any sense whatsoever, but...)

well, I am, but without a diagnosies for that. It is anything but easy to get that here in Germany. And I see no point in it. insurance company would not let me in like for getting a life insurance or a private health insurance, if I would every have this diagnoses. And I would not get any help at all, but would have this stamp being ret*d or alike. I know I am not, just being different, thinking different and havving some problems with social skills.

Asperger Hamburger certainly has a ring to it!
