hi folks.. my names paul,im 31yrs young and live in manchester, this is my first time on a web site like this,so if i mess up,you'll have to bare with me  and im a useless speller,so i hope you can understand what i write lol ...i dont have aspergers but my girlfriend, fiz has...we met through a mutural friend and im so glad that we got introduced...i dont know that much about AS but im willing to learn as much as i can about it...but it makes no diference to me if she's got AS or not cos i love her the way she is... :) i myself have got crohne's disease and have gone through some quite rough times (and still am) so we both understand what its like to have a long term illness...
i play the guitar and synth in a heavy metal band called THE BEEF with my best friend dan but up untill now we have not got a lead singer but fiz is auditioning as soon as we write some lyrics...i hope it works out ok cos she has a really good singing voice and is a natural harmoniser... :)
well thats it for now,cos i cant think of any thing else to write except hello everybody and i hope il be talking to some of you soon :P  :D

Hello and welcome to WrongPlanet!

But I really don't consider my AS a long-term illness... at the worst just a disability.

It's ok he wasn't really referring to my AS here, I have a long term illness with my bowels too that is very similar to his. So we both understand what we have to go through here.

Anyway, hey babe, welcome to WP xXx :D

Do you live in Manchester NH or Manchester England. I was thinking you lived in the US and not the UK because you said you met your girlfriend through a mutal friend and not a mutual mate.

No offense, but I prefer not to strip in the company of other men - or anyone else. Welcome, though. Good luck with the band and I hope you learn lots here.

I would have thought so, yes.

Hiya squirell and welcome to WrongPlanet. I hope you like it here.

A complete non-sequitur, of course, but I was in Manchester only the other day. ;)

Yes it is Manchester in England ,and we try and refrain from saying 'mate' on public forums as we know that, for others, it can have a totally different meaning to friend
