Hiya, I'm Buzz and I'm new. I'm pretty sure I'm not far from the autistic spectrum, although I lead a (relatively) normal life. I took the AQ test the other day, anyone else heard of it? It's quite fun. I know this test is probably similar to an IQ test in that it doesn't actually mean anything. BUT I scored 33 which might be supposed to tell me something...
I've always been quite weird, as in in the middle of a conversation people quite often stop and shake their heads and glare and say "what?" I don't think I make much sense, and I tend to say random things, sometimes without knowing it. I don't explain things well and I ramble on and on and on and on. That's when I do actually get to know people anyway, I really don't like talking to people face to face or on the telephone. I don't know why. I find it hard to make new friends and I think after a while of knowing me people just find me annoying. Well, most do anyway. I think it's strange that everybody always says "be yourself", but you can only be yourself if you conform to certain standards. So basically, be yourself...as long as you're the same as everyone else. ANYWAY I also have a rather obsessive interest in birds of prey which other people always find fascinating to start with, but then they very quickly start avoiding me lol. And I like to pretend lots. I can make up stories. And I have an overactive imagination which terrifies me whenever I can't see anything, like with my eyes closed or in the dark. There's other things as well but I can't be bothered to list them all.
SO the reason I joined Wrong Planet was to talk to people who also have trouble integrating into society and find themselves branded as weird. I can also give advice but you might want to take my advice with a pinch of salt, it is often taken the wrong way.
BYEEEEEEEEEEE!
