Looking for services close to Bureau Co. Ill.

I am a mother of an 8 year old boy with Ausperger's. He was diagnosed less than a year ago and we have yet to find any support services within an hour of our town. I have 2 other older children, their lives, and a job. Traveling any farther is not a viable option. I am trying to get help in dealing with the school. To help them to understand how to help him better( finally got them to stop making him play tag in PE) and to find a way to help his sibling understand him better. (the ex-hubby thinks if I would stop spoiling him he would be fine) The older kids get confused. I don't want to enable my 8 year old, but I want to find better ways to help him understand the World, such as it is. If anyone would have info on any services around Bureau Co. Illinois, or if you are close and haveing the same problems, let me know and maybe we could help eachother out with finding things and sharing the work. Thank you.

i do feel for you.
but i can say with a diagnosis the hard bit is over..you will have a lifetime of learning an dunderstanding now, which is what your finding....not a lifetime of unexpalined difficulties....also your ex may have it as well.
