I haven't posted here in a LONG time and the posts I had made I had to delete because at the time my husband was being very nosy. Most of those posts were about my husband and how I couldn't stand the way he treated my son, so sorry. I have just filed for divorce from the SOB and could not be happier.
Anyways, I am the mother to a great 8 year old son with Aspergers and a wonderful 5 year old NT daughter. My kids are my whole world and they are really the best kids you could ever wish for.
My son has superior intelligence and horrible social and motor skills which the school won't help with because he is so smart and his deficits don't affect his school work. I've been fighting with the school since December 2005 and am getting really fed up.
I'm so glad to be back on here. And by the way, I'm pretty sure I have Asperger's, too!
