Hello all-

Allow me to start off by saying that I am not autistic. I do however have a six year old son who was just recently diagnosed as having Asperger's and I'm looking to reach out for some information as I'm really very much in the dark at this point as far as what I ought to expect and ways I can help him as he grows older.

I really feel that my son and I have a closer bond than a lot of fathers and sons have and he's one of the shining lights in my life, and I think he knows that. I hope to interact with some people on this site who can give me some insight and perhaps some advice on questions that may arise in the future.
