I am as of this date 21 years old. I was officially diagnosed as an Aspergerian back in 2004 not long before what I believe was the tv program NBC aired that triggered the whole autism craze you see today.
I've actually checked in on this website numerous times over the years but never really signed up for it or anything like that. What triggered my decision to join was one of my little autism research cravings that pop up from time to time, that compel me to check up on how all things related to autism are doing. That, combined with the fact that I am a goth, and a goth forum that I frequent has shown an abnormal autistic population cluster that I decided to check in on. So a google search for "autism goth" lead me back here, and the perfectionist in me was a bit aggravated by several incorrect details concerning this forum's knowledge of the goth subculture. Such a cheesy autistic cliche, but one has to indulge themselves every so often.
The only problem is it's been several months since it has been active and I'm not quite sure how this forum feels about necroing threads. The thread in particular that drew me back here is as follows.

While really truly I have no ill intent towards the hopefully good intent filled woman (I really dont know her intentions seeing how new I am, so I wont make any assumptions). She seems to display the most lack of understanding of what goth is , in her saying of things such as

despite the fact that when goth first came out (about 1980) she would have been 3. Then she says

It was called Industrial back in the day
even though industrial didn't exist until the 90s. To name a few of the most aggravating features of her post.
Ugh, I hate cliches, and I hope that you'll forgive me for giving into the whole "correctness" cliche, I try my best to avoid giving into such an overt autistic behavior, I truly do. If necroing is alright though I would like to proceed at once, I even have my black candles and everything else ready:P(not really, I'm Catholic)
Here's hoping I haven't unintentionally offended 50%+ of this forum
