Hello, it's been about a month or two since I was diagnosed... I'm from Northern Ireland and I'm an adult. Hoping this forum will be pretty useful if I ever require anything.

hey im from northern ireland and i live up in holywood. i was diagnosed bout 7 months ago and im 27, so its still pretty new to me too. nice to meet you :-)

As someone who makes fairly frequent visits to Northern Ireland I might suggest:

Belfast (though certainly not all of it is pretty; it's a city with all its social problems and the legacy of its past); the North Down coast; Hillsborough; Portrush; Londonderry and over to Donegal in the Republic (though they still have problems there with terrorist activity, and bombs do go off there - I didn't think Derry was a particularly nice place to be honest with you); South Down, Newcastle and the Mourne mountains; the Ards peninsula are just a few I can think of that we visited. There are lots of little towns and villages to see, too.

Hi

Welcome to all new members. I think this forum is a pleasant place to be.

I was born in NI and have lived in NI all my life, just outside Belfast. I haven't actually asked this on here yet but, I live in the North Down & Ards area, not saying exactly where to maintain some sort of privacy, does anyone live near me?
