First off, my real name is in my username. I am aware of the risks. I do however wish to become a politician so I am already okay with people knowing my name.

Anyway, my current goal is to become a politician. I have overcome many problems I have had related to Aspergers, but the 2 remaining ones, charisma and emotionlessness, I have will be fixed in college with toastmasters and acting classes. In case you were wondering, I am currently 17.

As for my hobbies I enjoy video games and making videos related to said video games. I have been told that I have a good voice and am naturally funny, so if you wish to see any of my channel is AaronTheSmall on youtube.

That's it for an introduction of myself. I look forward to talking with all of you people on this forum.

Sincerely,

Aaron Small

What are your platform issues?

This probably isn't the place to discuss something like that. I will most likely post topics in the political sections of this site, if there are any, when I get around to it.

Your OP was concerned with superficial issues, and your next one evaded my question.

I think you'll make a great politician.

How could anyone believe I would care about them and their struggles if I am unable to show it?

How could I be a good leader and a good example for future politicians after me if I don't have the charisma to get people behind my ideas?

Why would I risk angering a mod on my first post answering questions about my political beliefs in an introductory forum when there is a designated political forum?

Oh and by the way, the above questions are rhetorical.

It's unfortunate that you believe that I am superficial, but you are entitled to believe whatever you so choose.

As for the claim that I am evading your question, I would gladly answer your question if it were in the political section of the forum.

Asking questions that you don't want answered ... yes, a great politician indeed!

Rhetorical devices are used to convey ideas while also encouraging the reader to question themselves and their ideals. This tactic is used by many writers, most of which I will admit are writers of political novels.

Welcome to WrongPlanet!

Good luck with your politician ambition, I doubt there are many people with AS who have got far with that for obvious reasons, but it sounds like you are aware of that.
Hope you enjoy your stay here :)
