Hello - I'm new (ish) and I like similar bands. My own favourites which I think you'd like are:

Ride - Going Blank Again
Catherine Wheel - Happy Days
The Beta Band - Heroes to Zeroes
Reverse - The Jersey Switch

Ride and Catherine Wheel were both 'shoegazer' bands, but the albums listed have a rocky, psychedelic edge. Be wary of their other albums which are softer and aren't as good IMHO.

The Beta Band are hard to describe - a mixture of indie, rock, folk and pop. I know this sounds like a terrible combination but somehow, amazingly, it worked. They wrote quirky, touching and yet powerful songs.

Reverse are a US band that I found on a website called CDbaby. The album reminds me very strongly of Nirvana, Muse, the Smashing Pumpkins circa "Siamese Dream" (another top album!) and The Vines.

Autumn_shade has just seen The Vines live in Oz and it's fair to say she loves them to bits! I have their new album on order at the moment - can't wait!

fancy that! yet another member with such great taste in music. ( )

The Heritage Center, huh? brilliant.

I was looking into festivals around the UK this summer; those tickets sure go fast. I check in every now and then to catch the line ups for next year. caught the Muse gig at Quart 06 though. Brilliant preformance. (  )

The Marshalls; they're really quite good actually. thanks for the tip. I just visited their website. kind of arctic monkeys/dirty pretty things/weezer with some arcade firey feel to it.
