Hi everyone I'm Jamie, i'm 24 years old and living in North Yorkshire England, i was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome at 12 years old. i like to make friends but sometimes have trouble recognising emotions and occasionly come across as insensitive, so i apologise in advance if this happens, i have long wanted to talk to other Aspies like myself, i have a friend with AS but he prefers to pretend it doesn't exist and although i do chat to his wife about it i'm only getting an outsiders opinion. then today while doing some research on AS i stumbled across a reference to this site and nearly jumped for joy after reading about it. i look forward to seeing replies and getting to know all of you

I'm from the next county over from you: Lancashire. Whereabouts are you from in North Yorkshire? It's a big place. after all.

thanks for the welcome i live in Scarborough. although my hometown is actually Maidenhead in Berkshire
