Hi all-

I have an amazing 7 year old with ADHD (severe) and Aspergers. He is a brilliant, social young man with a love of astronomy and all things Disney and Pixar. He is academically advanced, but his ADHD is nearly impossible to manage. My husband and I did try a number of drugs trials, some of which were effective, bur we decided he is too young to be ingesting pharmaceuticals. So I began a homeopathic regimen and I need suggestions, because despite quite a bit of tweaking we still can't get the ADHD under control. I have tried numerous combinations of GABA, Kava Kava, L-Theanine, Valerian Root, St Johns Wort, Magnesium Citrate, Omega-3, Grapeseed, Taurine, CoQ10, Synaptol, etc (not all at once, of course, but the right combo has eluded me).

Can anyone on this forum suggest something that seems to work well for ADHD and focusing? Any thoughts are appreciated....

There's always the classic, caffeine, it'll help him focus. For another stimulant, there's ginseng, a bit "cleaner" than caffeine. Not really healthy with caffeine, though.

B-Vitamins and Vitamin C helps a lot, as those chemicals are needed for your body to build adrenaline. Something to try.

I only suggest you stay away from homeopathy. I won't explain it, because it's better if I just link you to this, it will explain everything: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KbLHii8M2A

Herbal remedies on the other hand, might be worthwhile looking in to. I don't really have much experience on herbal remedies.

Yes, anything really. All of it is just essentially bottled tap water
