Hello,

My name is Matthew Scruggs ( unfortunately there seem to be several people with my name so I'm stuck using a "Handle" dated 1985 or so, in the pre-history of Cyberspace.). I'm almost 50 years of age. Usually, I'm off on HealingWell dealing with my other curse, Crohn's Disease but...
For most of my life, especially in my grade school years, there has been a suspcion of Autism. But back in the 1960's I just didn't fit the model. I could communicate, etc. with people, though there were issues indeed I was held back in first grade because I didn't socialize well. But recently I found the definition & symptom list for Asperger's. I have EVERY one, plus a couple other little autistically flavored behaviors. Its a slam dunk.
It also explains a lot of the problems I've had in Life, such as dating problems, bullying, etc.
I've found ways around some things, but still have problems at the personal level.
