Hi there!

Well, to start off, I'm 18 years old. I'm a high school senior getting ready to jump from the nest. I have two X chromosomes. My favorite color is green. My hobbies are drawing, playing bass guitar, listening to 80s rock (Aerosmith!!), and fiddling around with Tetris. I was diagnosed with Aspergers about a year ago, which explained some of my traits:
1. I'm really shy, and I often avoid eye contact.
2. I've been obsessive about reading and drawing ever since I was 3-4ish.
3. I have academic smarts in some areas (English, Math), but lag behind in other subjects (social studies, speech class)
4. I'm somewhat..ungraceful.
I'm really glad to have been diagnosed. And that there are others who are aspies too. Even though I've been criticized for being "antisocial", teased, and occasionally bullied (sooo glad to be over with summer camp), I have no second thoughts. I haven't met another aspie yet or someone with ASD. But I'm hoping that'll change soon.
