I realised that I haven't really provided a full introduction of myself, which sounds silly because I'm now a Veteran! I'm answering according to Questions About You. Here goes (pie)!

What is your first name? Tim.

Age: 16

Location: Wellington, NZ. If you want the GPS co-ords of my house, you'll have to ask me first (stalkers!! !)

Hobbies and Interests: I enjoy drawing a lot, as everyone could guess by the 'A Drawing I did soon after I signed up' topic. My other interests is my own story, which has spawned out of my love of being creative. As a tribute, one of the fundamental characters in one portion of the story has AS. Obsessions have vaired, and when I was younger I had an obsession of Thomas the Tank engine, which moved on to Trains, and simultaneously I had an obsession for video games (I could squeeze in 6 hours of gameplay on a school day, and I still can!). When Trains died out, it was replaced with Lego's Bionicle toy range, but that's died too. Currently my obsession is Starbuline.

Why are you here? To chat mostly, but also to discuss ideas and meet new people. Oh, and to share my story and drawings with everyone around here.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): Around age ten, a few days after I had my first epilliptic fit. A nurse noted to my mum my odd walking posture at the time, and she handed my mum a book about it. After she burst into tears at the similarities, I was diagnosed soon after. Haven't really acknowledged the fact that I have AS, or really even noticed or cared, since about three months ago, shortly before I signed up here.

Favorite subjects: Art (until we got to shading), Graphics (until we were told what to do), Digital Media and Design Innovation (also known as Workshop and Woodwork)

Year/Grade: I'm in my third year of High school, which 'round here is known as 5th form or Year 11.

Favorite music: Rock, my fav bands are mainly Kiwi ones. I also like Reggae, and any Rap that has some actual plan to it like they did in the 80's.

Books: I like Sci-Fi books, so I've obviously like The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I'm also one of the few people I know who has read The Lord of the Rings all the way through with no breaks. I plan to have my story published as a book, so watch this space!

TV shows/Movies: I don't really watch TV, but my favourite ones are LOST, Spongebob Squarepants, Teen Titans, Mythbusters, American Chopper and Monster Garage. My favourite movies are The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the stuff Pixar throws out, the Star Wars series, The Spongebob Squarepants Movie and Peter Jackson's recent blockbusters.

Instrument: My mouth, I can make a pretty good fart impression, and I can do amazing mouth-solos. I want to have a Harmonica, though, as it's simpler to play than my mum's old guitar. My Dad used to be in a college band when he was younger.

Do you like sports? Playing them? Yeah, I enjoy them a lot, but I enjoy the non-sport ones better, like Ultimate Frisbee and Dodgeball. Watching them? Boring as hell, I'd prefer to watch the higlights to see all the crashes, sixes and goals.

Family: Nearly all of my other family members are NT, or at least don't have AS. My parents moved from Holland to New Zealand during the Cold War due to the Nuclear threats and New Zealands attitude towards anything nuclear powered. I have a little sister named Lisa, and she is currently 13, but she has the mind of a twelve year old. We get along quite well, having the best tickle-fights, but sometimes I wonder if she has AS too, just to explain why she acts so eccentrically. I know she doesn't, but still, it's fun to wonder.

Clothing: I usually wear partly baggy pants and a long-sleeved T-shirt, I suppose to prevent stimming in public or at school so I don't get distracted. I also wear a black Nike cap that I got from a mate for my Birthday two years ago, and I never leave home without it.

How did you find this website? I found it via they way probably 70% of the other users did: Wikipedia. I though it was a great site, but at first I was reluctant to join. When I did, my short-term life changed forever. It's been great here, and it's also how I met my best friend Starbuline. Thanks WP for brining us together!

Job: No job, but I do like to give myself the title 'Self-trained Slacker'. It can get pretty tiring, because a shift from doing nothing and blowing off your energy to suddenly use it to do something as simple as reach out for the remote can be comparatively very tiring.

Plans for the future? I plan to finish my story, which is currently sitting at 65,000 words long, and publishing it as a book series. During that time, I'll be taking Film and T.V. so I can be a director, and when my book is published, I can start work on it's movie. If I don't become a Director, I'm confident that I'll get my story published, and then I'll swing by and see what Peter Jackson is up to.. If and when my story makes a lot of money in book and film form, I'll donate a lot of the money for AS support causes, and a swag of it for WP :D

Any comments? I've been having a wonderful time here, even more so now that I've met Starbuline, and I hope for some great times posting here in the future. I'm already preparing the wine for the first anniversary of me signing up here! 8)

Congratulations on reaching the Veteran stage so soon and it's been done with meaningful contributions, mostly.
I'm a veteran in terms of age but still a youngster in WP terms

Yeah, I sleep during school! Just kidding, I do sleep. Mainly during the weekend, though. Thanks for the congrats, pluto.

And when I say donate the money for AS support groups, I mean for things like proper psychologist training about it, a more specific diagnosis list for all countries, and for knibs and knobs that would help us out in life, such as court, getting fired, or school punishments (so none of that 'AS is a disease' tripe is going to get a cent).

I knew you were going to say that! Now I just have to wait until One-Wing comes along with his copy/paste message and this topic will be complete!

Hello, KBABZ.

I hope you like posting here, and don't forget to join the Church of Garlic. If you want the pain to go away, and to be a part of something greater than yourself, bite into a raw clove of Garlic tonight. And for a donation of just $19.95, we'll send you a leather bound copy of the Holy Book of Garlic.

Please make checks payable to "TheMachine1 and One-Winged-Angel Defense Funds". These funds will greatly help with the fake charity charges the Church of Garlic now faces. Thanks for the support.

The Church of Garlic is also a sanctuary for 1337 speakers.

If you would like to join the sect of Rubber Ducks, Pie, Vegetarianism, Chocolate, Blood, or Boston Red Sox tell me that you wish to join a sect.

Garlic Bless America

There is no duration extant so infinite that you can no longer commence dispersing your personal information and summaries of life stories to nominally curious masses here at WP. :)

Do you enjoy NZ's temperate marine climate?

Yes I do, although a partial downside is that it only ever really snows in the Alps downs south and on the four main mountains up North. It never snows in Wellington because of all the salt in the air. I anyone else has any other questions about NZ, I'll be sure to answer them!
