Hello. My name is Steve and I am 30 years old. I was diagnosed with Asperger's at age 28. I heard about this site at an Asperger's conference I just got back from earlier today so I figured I'd join and check it out.

I guess I wasn't really surprised I had Asperger's. When I did my own research, I realized I had a lot of the symptoms (trouble making eye contact, lack of empathy, an intense interest in one or two subjects, etc.). I have a bachelor's and a master's degree in business administration, but having Asperger's makes it hard to find a job where I can use my degrees. I currently do merchandising and truck unloading, and have been with my current employer for eight years.

My Aspie "interests" include computer games, sports schedules, and one more that I don't feel comfortable posting. If you want to know anything more about me, just ask.
