I’ve been poking around the site and suddenly realized I never came here to introduce myself, so here I am!

I’ve never been formally tested, so I can’t be certain that I have Asperger’s. Up until about two weeks ago, I didn’t even know about it. As I did some reading up on it, it sure struck a lot of familiar notes. I took two different online tests (on different days) and came in at 33 and 36, for what that’s worth.

All my life (I’m 47 now), I’ve often felt like the round peg trying to fit a square hole and now I have a pretty good idea why that might be. I can relate to a lot of what I’ve read here in the forums so far, so I think this could be a great resource for not only understanding more about it but getting different viewpoints as well. I tend to stay inside myself a lot so that kind of external input is quite helpful.

Welcome. Here in Seattle they actually have an Asperger's meetup group called Square Pegs. I'd never go to one of their meetups, but still...
