Hi- I found this site searching for info on Aspergers. My daughter was diagnosed with it today. She is 11 and we've been working with an ADD Innatentive diagnosis for about a year and a half. Now it looks like both, and not a whole lot of input from the psychologist that just finished testing her on what we do now, though I am hoping for something more when we get his actual report.

Right now she's happy as a clam watching a video and I am reeling--glad its me worrying and not her. I just don't know where to start, so I thought I come see what other parents are doing to help their kids. I guess this is our step one.

Hi Jewelergirl! Welcome to Wrong Planet! Glad you found the forums. They have many here. Some are helpful with Autism and Asperger's issues, but there are many others for a variety of other issues, including some for young people, like the games forum. Hope you enjoy the site. I do! :D You are among friends here at WP! :D

Thanks questor, thanks mmcool. Yeah, I know these are just people working with this issue in their lives (in major majority non-medical personnel) but that's what I find good about it. Concerned parents and people who live it seem to me like an excellent source of practical info you may not be able to get from docs.

Thanks again all :)
